    2.1. Give a unique name.
2.1.1. Always give a unique name for new tool, otherwise the previous tool will be overwritten when you save the tool.
    2.2. Decide tool no.
2.2.1. It is used for automatic tool changer number.
    2.3. Enter cutter geometric properties.
2.3.1. Tool cutter geometry is used for toolpath offset calculations. Parameters are important if tool offset is important.
    2.3.2. Detail tool length parameters.
2.3.2.1. Press button "?" on tool page to import a drawing that detail the parameters.
2.3.2.2. Tool length parameters may be used for collision detection or tool rotation offset calculations. They are sometimes important.
    2.4. Add tool extension geometry.
2.4.1. Add a conic and cylinder shaft as extension (tool arbor).
    2.5. Enter default speed parameters.
    2.5.1. (cutting - entry - exit - link - rpm)
    2.6. Give a type name.
2.6.1. This text may be used for some functional decisions later. It is good to give a unique type name for each tool. You may repeat tool name itself.
2.6.2. It is sometimes used for operation name root.
2.6.3. It is sometimes used to sort operations on a plate after automatic nesting.
2.6.4. It is passed to post processor script and it is sometimes used for active tool length.
    2.7. Write a priority number.
2.7.1. It may be used for ordering operations later. Leave it as zero if you need not use.
    3. Recording tool.
3.1. When you press button Add/Record button tool will be saved on disk.
    4. Modifying existing tools.
4.1. Double click on a tool name in list to see its parameters or from treeview node of tool give right click command "Edit".
4.2. Change any parameter from the page and press Add/Record button to save on disk.

    5. Saving and opening sets of tools.
5.1. Press button "Save set..." to export list of tools on disk.
5.2. You may import some other list on disk by pressing "Open set..." button. When a new set is opened the active list will be removed! It is good to save the active set before opening another set.
